B5 Learning Center serves Tri-Cities refugees and immigrants through education that helps newcomers build skills, confidence, and connection. Adults can learn English, digital literacy, and citizenship, while young people receive after-school tutoring, enrichment, and support preparing for college and work. Together, these programs help families overcome language barriers, navigate a new community, and create brighter futures.

Children’s Developmental Center empowers infants and toddlers with special needs and their families through comprehensive early intervention. Licensed professionals provide family coordination, special instruction, speech-language services, and occupational and physical therapy, with additional programs supporting hospital-to-home transitions and specialized care. By beginning during children’s most formative years, the center helps them develop essential skills and reach their fullest potential.

Communities In Schools of Benton-Franklin surrounds students with a community of support so they can stay in school and achieve in life. Working inside 28 area schools, staff help young people access food, stable housing, technology, health care, social-emotional learning, and college and career preparation. By removing barriers beyond the classroom, they create equitable conditions for students to learn, grow, and write their own success stories.

Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels nourishes older adults across Benton and Franklin counties with more than balanced meals. Homebound adults age 60 and older receive deliveries, safety checks, and friendly visits, while community dining sites offer hot meals and connection. With weekend and emergency meal options, nutrition education, and resource referrals, the program helps neighbors remain healthy, independent, and connected to a community that cares.

The Salvation Army Tri-Cities meets essential needs across the community with practical, compassionate support. Its programs provide food, shelter, rent and utility assistance, youth education and activities, senior outreach, disaster relief, and spiritual care. By addressing immediate crises while helping neighbors build stability, The Salvation Army brings dignity, hope, and a path forward to local children, families, and individuals.
